The AGG took place in Shanghai this November and saw 600 participants from over 10 countries competing in men’s and women’s Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie over the weekend, including teams from Shangahi, Suzhou and Jiangxi.
The AGG has a long history of diversity and this year two local Chinese University teams participated, and 20% of the participants were local players from all across Asia. Once again this year the all-Chinese youth children’s team from Shanghai also participated in a children’s GAA showcase. Thank you to the AGG organising committee of Shanghai GAA who put in a huge amount of work to deliver a fantastic two day event with over 80 fixtures, children’s activities, food & drink, live music and so much more!
